  • (Lichen islandicus) 



ACTION: The product enriches diet for recovery after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The active principle of the product is a combination of natural phyto-flavonoids and biologically active substances that contribute to the stimulation of haematopoietic function in organism. It helps optimum number of leukocytes and leukocyte balance to be maintained in peripheral blood, following suppression of cytotoxic agents, radiotherapy and post-hepatitis conditions. It contributes to the cytostatic and radiation therapy without interruption, and reduces feeling sick. It improves the processes of increasing and stabilizing the hemoglobin and platelets levels.

INDICATIONS: It is recommended as leucopetic agent with light and moderately heavy leucocytopenias, due to cytotoxic or radiotherapy, Hodgkin lymphoma (Hodgkin), post-hepatitis states, and as a result of toxic effects on bone marrow. It affects stabilization of hemoglobin and platelets.

SPECIFICITY OF APPLICATION:

The product is used for prophylactic purpose, as well as jointly with cytostanic or radio-therapy, by 1-2 capsules on daily basis, after meal. In the event of including in treatment plan with medications, it could be administered up to 6 capsules for 24 hours, depending on the number of leukocytes or aggressiveness leucocytopenic agent, as in this particular case it is advisable more often investigation of leucocytes, under physician’s control. It contributes to not stopping medication or radiotherapy or correction and therefore leucopenia.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS:

It is well accepted. Not to be used by pregnant women – it is likely to cause spasm of cervical muscles.
